Spread over 100 hectares of former marshland and rice paddies in Ayutthaya Province, Royal Bang Pa-In Golf Club is a top Schmidt-Curley design boasting some of the largest and fastest greens in Asia. Thanks to the use of the latest variety of Champion ultra-dwarf Bermuda grass, putting is a challenge, although the hard Paspalum fairways allow for good distance off the tee. Thick and sticky rough placing a premium on accuracy at this enjoyable course.
Royal Bang Pa-In offers many risk-reward holes, including the dogleg right opening hole where water flanks the whole right side, and a long carry is required to hit the fairway. The course features square tee boxes and rescue bunkers, large mounds flanking each hole, and many blind shots into bunker-protected greens.
The finishing holes on each nine are especially memorable, with the par-5 ninth requiring a long drive to have a chance of clearing the stream crossing the fairway around 100 yards from the green. The 18th requires an accurate drive to an elevated fairway and a second that carefully cuts the corner of the dogleg to leave yourself with a memorable approach into the final green.
The ultra-modern clubhouse at Royal Bang Pa-In features a large rock waterfall spanning the entire rear of the clubhouse, extensive locker rooms offering privacy with small opaque glass panes, and a dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows with 360-degree course views.

Played on a Friday, the pace was great and we managed to finish the round under 4 hours.

This is one of the better course around Bangkok that's within an hour's drive away. It has a nice club house and changing facilities. The course is nicely layout and in good condition. The price is reasonable and hence good value for money. My group of 8 golfers really enjoyed playing this course.Good experience for a first timer at Royal Bang Pa-In but need improvement on food.
Found this golf course through website on top 10 golf courses in Bangkok. Golf course is in excellent condition from tee to green. Food is not as good as some of the other premium golf clubs.Course Info
