Mature, centrally-located parkland course
Located near the center of Bangkok and boasting a captivating layout with sizable, fully-grown trees, Krungthep Kreetha is one of the oldest and best-known golf courses in Bangkok. Following a 1995 redesign, the layout emphasises water hazards, mature trees and numerous out-of-bounds areas, making straight drives, regardless of length, essential to scoring well.
Water hazards and out-of-bounds areas are present on one or both sides of the fairway for most holes. Accurate approach shots are also necessary due to greenside bunkers and even more water. The par 3s are particularly challenging, as they are short yet difficult to hold on the putting surface, while the greens at can be misleading and somewhat difficult to read.
Krungthep Kreetha's clubhouse, which was also refurbished along with the golf course, is quite impressive, with an outstanding Thai restaurant. The Krungthep Kreetha site offers complete practice facilities, including a public driving range.
Due to its proximity to downtown Bangkok, Krungthep Kreetha Golf Course is very popular and can busy on weekends, but if you can secure a tee time it's a great choice on any Bangkok golf holiday.

Good Condition
Great golf course and always in good condition. It’s a little bit more expensive than others in that area but is very challenging. The tree lined fairways make you think about every tee shot and unlike many courses here in Thailand it is quite long so need to be careful of the tee box.Course Info
