Comprising three distinct 9-hole championship courses—the Lagoon Course, Palm Course, and Garden Course—the conveniently located Panya Indra Golf Club boasts a remarkable landscape with colourful flowering plants, palm tree-lined fairways, and lakes and ponds that come into play on almost every hole. Sculpted bunkers, natural flowing lines of fairways, and undulating fairways add to the unique character of the course.
The par-3 holes are the most challenging, almost all requiring playing over water, notably on the Palm Course's 4th hole which boasts an excellent island green. Clover-leaf bunkering defines the holes, leading to small, tricky greens that have almost no flat spots, making your skill with the putter a make-or-break aspect of your day.
Although the course is to be commended for the condition in which it is kept, play at Panya Indra Golf Club can be erratic and slow due to the popularity of the course with local Thai business executives, members, and government officials. Patience is required for maximum enjoyment.
Clubhouse facilities, locker rooms, and onsite restaurants are decent, if unspectacular, but the course still has much to recommend it as part of any Bangkok golf holiday.

Slightly slow play but not terrible
Play was a little slow and annoyingly they dont seem to let you play through but overall it wasn't a horribly slow pace. The course itself was fantastic, big greens in great shape. Few spots under repair but that just allowed me to get a free drop, which was an improvement :) The facilities are extremely nice, very nice showers/locker rooms, plenty of places to get f&b throughout the course. Driving range is pretty unique as you hit into a lake. Lots of water and sandtraps on the course make for a challenging time. All in all, great course, good value and I'll be back.Pace too slow. I really enjoyed playing at Panya Indra, but please be warned that if you are an early tee time it seem you'll likely be pre-committed to playing the A/B course. I think this is because of the flood lighting installed on the first stretch of A, a necessity for teeing off in the early pre-dawn hours. Conditions of the fairways and greens were great! Zero complaints about the course; it's both difficult and fun, along with being picturesque. Very cool undulating fairways and greens all throughout the course. Caddies (regular or "pretty") are consistently awesome! The one failure my party experienced this time was related to the starter: I specifically asked for first tee time (if possible) for my 2-player group. Panya Indra confirmed that was OK, 0608, first out. We get to the course, pay up for cart & caddy, and head to the starter. There's a little snag; they misunderstood and thought we'd be walking. So, the caddies grab carts and once we're ready to go it's now about 0605. We then see two 3-player parties head towards the first tee box. OK, maybe they're just prepping? Nope! Both groups teed off and proceeded to walk the course. End result: We wait an average of 7-8 minutes on every single hole until 13, get waived through one of the groups, then wait 5-6 minutes each of the remaining holes. Finished in 3 hours, 55 minutes. Couldn't get into any rhythm and my score tanked so much I didn't bother to keep track for the last 6 holes. I wouldn't be upset if I was playing in a 4-some or if we had been walking, too, but how does it make sense to OK 3x2 walkers before 2 carts, before the 3x2's start time? Despite the course itself being excellent, this tainted it for me and I probably won't be repeating Panya Indra unless someone else really wants to go.Course Info
